I have liked Kasey and Lidzi since day one. I agree with Kasey's dad being skeptical of the process. What dad wouldn't be when four girls are dating this guy? I think Nicki is a super sweet girl but I just don't see her with Ben in the end. That date reminded me of the movie Fools rush in. Ben was a city guy in a cowboy hat out of his element!

This was probably the fakest most produced hometown date I have seen in a long time! Courtney's dad says that marriage is a gamble and ten seconds later says that he wants some grandkids. As for the wedding ceremony, that was a total cut and paste from Ashley Hebert's season.
Next week Ben will leave his comfort zone again when he travels to Switzerland. Oh and we also will get to see a preview for Emily Maynard's upcoming season.

Bruce Beresford-Redman: I Didn't Kill My Wife
Bruce Beresford-Redman, the former Survivor producer accused of killing his wife in Mexico two years ago, is speaking out for the first time and proclaiming his innocence.
"Everyone seems to have decided that I killed my wife," he tells 48 Hours Mystery in an episode airing Saturday at 10 p.m. "I didn't kill my wife – I really didn't."
In April 2010, the body of Monica Beresford-Redman turned up naked and beaten in a sewer near a resort in Cancun where she was vacationing with Bruce and their two children.
Beresford-Redman, who was extradited to Mexico this month for the crime, was arrested soon after authorities found the corpse and witnesses at the hotel said they overheard the couple arguing earlier in the night.
"For anyone who really believes... that you're innocent until you're proven guilty, please take a look at the evidence. Or in this case, the absolute complete lack of evidence," says Beresford-Redman, adding:
"I doubt that there will ever be a satisfying resolution for this because the evidence is gone. Even if I do manage to get off, I don't know if Monica's killers will ever really be caught."

Spalding, on the other hand, has managed to fly under the radar in the time since she took home Grammy gold. However, this March she plans to get back on the scene and release her new album, <i>Radio Music Society,</i> her follow-up to <i>Chamber Music Society,</i> the 2010 album that helped bring national attention to her at the Grammys last year. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:622257.id:1657881" width="240" height="211"></div><p> "Originally I thought it would be fun to release a double album," she said in a statement about the soon-to-be released album. "One disc with an intimate, subtle exploration of chamber works and a second one in which jazz musicians explore song forms and melodies that are formatted more along the lines of what we would categorize as pop songs. Those are the two things that really interest me, and it intrigues me to think about different presentation approaches while writing each kind of song." As she sets out to celebrate the anniversary of her win, Spalding dropped a new track, "Black Gold," to radio, and earlier this month she premiered the video for it. She'll also hit the road for a tour that kicks off in April and wraps up in June. Bill Maher Donates $1M to Pro-Obama Super PAC
Comedian Bill Maher announced during a comedy special Thursday night that he would donate $1 million to the pro-Obama Priorities USA Action Super PAC.
The host of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher dropped the (money) bomb at the end of "CrazyStupidPolitics," streamed live on Yahoo. He said the following:
"I would like tonight to announce a donation to the Obama super PAC, which has the very unfortunate tongue-twister name Priority [sic] USA Action."
"I know, it was named by Borat," Maher said. "But tonight, I would like to give that PAC one million dollars," prompting cheers from the audience.
The donation, manifested onstage in the form of one of those oversized checks, provides a significant boost to the pro-Obama Super PAC's coffers.
The group raised less than $59,000 in the month of January and $4.4 million overall ... not even that much more than the Colbert Super PAC really.
Super PACs can raise unlimited amounts of cash to support political causes, but are not permitted to coordinate their activities with candidates they favor.
Bill Maher said that a 2012 Obama victory was "worth a million dollars" and described the donation as "the wisest investment I think I could make."
He encouraged other wealthy donors to give to the group as well.

Though the unexpected death of her mother is still fresh in her mind, sources are saying that Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is doing better.
"She's doing okay," says a source close to the family. "She's still obviously got a lot to deal with but she's doing a little better each day, and being back home in Atlanta seems to be a good thing."
Bobbi suffered from an emotional breakdown shortly after hearing the tragic news of her mother's untimely death, but with family support is getting by.

HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."
B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.
I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

While backstage at the Rebecca Taylor Fall 2012 fashion show, the designer revealed to In Touch she just received a check from Buckingham Palace for clothing the Duchess of Cambridge purchased. "I love her and her style," the designer told In Touch. "She wears our clothes but we can't gift them, so just this week I received a check with an invoice number and everything straight from Buckingham Palace!?
Though Taylor plans on framing the check rather than cashing it, it is still so refreshing to know that Kate shops just like everyone else. Of course, Taylor could be expecting a check in the mail again soon, as the designer revealed she designed a long glitter-print dress that she could totally see Kate wearing. "Let's send it to her now!" exclaimed Taylor.
